Why you should follow this program

Diversity is a hot topic these days, and for good reason. A recent study from McKinsey shows that diverse executive teams outperform others and that we need to pay more attention to it. But it isn't only relevant for those who hire and promote people. We all need to take responsibility.

Diversity is not just about race, gender, and age—it's also about different ways of working, thinking, and communicating. We all use our biases as mental shortcuts for faster information processing, which has its place. But when our assumptions go unexamined, they often do more harm than good.

Deepen Understanding with Thoughtful Reflection

Embrace the PMI Scan method inspired by luminaries like Daniel Kahneman, encouraging you to slow down your thinking and overcome biases. By adopting a more deliberate thought process, you gain a nuanced understanding of diverse perspectives, fostering inclusivity.

Assertive Expression for Inclusive Culture

Take ownership of inclusion by applying Non-violent Communication principles from Marshall Rosenberg. Our program empowers you to express your needs assertively, raising awareness about micro-aggressions and contributing to a workplace where everyone's voice is heard.

Transformative Belief Challenge for Positive Mindset

Practice proven Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Byron Katie's "The Work" to challenge and transform stressful thoughts. By learning to reframe unhelpful beliefs, you develop a constructive mindset, contributing to a workplace culture that values personal growth and diverse perspectives.

Foster Personal Growth through Self-Inquiry

Explore The Work by Byron Katie, utilizing four questions for self-inquiry and reflection. This aspect of the program encourages you to challenge limiting beliefs, fostering personal growth and creating an environment conducive to open-mindedness.

Meet your trainer

At the kickstart of your 3-6 week skills development program, you will follow a webinar delivered by Sarah Cherif, founder and CEO of SkillsGym. Here are a few things you might like to know about her:

Sarah's background

Sarah began her career at the University of Ghent with degrees in child education and philosophy, quickly realizing her passion for teaching. Faced with the challenge of helping seasoned leaders develop soft skills without any prior corporate experience, she turned this disadvantage into a strength by creating evidence-based, sure-proof plans to build strong soft skills through habit formation and impactful conversations.

Personal life

Sarah's roots are Belgian and Tunesian, and she partially grew up in Washington DC. She currently lives in Belgium with her partner Nils (who is co-founder of SkillsGym Health), and has a dog named Lizzy.

20+ years of impact

Together with her SkillsGym team, Sarah has helped numerous world-class organizations like Samsung, Deloitte, Ikea... and thousands of managers and their teams improve their soft skills. SkillsGym now offers programs to accelerate the mastery of 50 essential leadership, team and well-being skills.

Fun fact

Sarah tests all the habits and conversations in the SkillsGym offer herself; that's more than 200+ habits and 200+ conversations. Most of them have become second nature. Yet, as you'll learn in the webinars, she isn't shy to talk about the failures and frustrations along the way.
