Why you should follow this program
Elevate Your Response to Challenging Feedback
Have you ever felt caught off guard by feedback, reacting defensively or impulsively? In our program, you'll learn to break the automatic reaction cycle and choose a more constructive response. Drawing inspiration from Sheila Heen and Joe Hirsch's techniques, you'll be equipped with six powerful strategies to handle challenging feedback gracefully. This skill will empower you to turn feedback into an opportunity for personal growth and development.
Become an Exceptional Listener and Cultivate Accountability
Effective communication begins with active listening. Our program focuses on honing this essential skill through techniques like the LSD method and Rapid Repeat Listening. Additionally, you'll discover the value of finding an accountability partner who can support and challenge you to become an even better listener. By becoming an active listener, you'll improve your relationships, foster deeper connections, and enhance your overall communication proficiency.
Unlock the Power of Presence in Conversations
Being fully present in your conversations can make a world of difference. We emphasize the critical role of presence in creating a positive impact and fostering a sense of safety and connection. Through techniques like focused observation, rapid repeat listening, and conscious breathing, you'll master the art of being fully engaged in your interactions. This skill will not only enhance your communication but also strengthen your ability to connect with others authentically.
Enhance Your Personal and Professional Relationships
Ultimately, the skills you acquire in this program extend beyond your personal growth—they impact your professional and personal relationships as well. Effective communication, active listening, and presence in conversations are invaluable in building trust, fostering collaboration, and creating meaningful connections. Whether in your workplace or personal life, these skills will elevate your relationships and enhance your overall satisfaction and success.

Build the skill, by mastering the sub-skills first.

Meet your trainer
At the kickstart of your 3-6 week skills development program, you will follow a webinar delivered by Sarah Cherif, founder and CEO of SkillsGym. Here are a few things you might like to know about her:
Sarah's background
Sarah began her career at the University of Ghent with degrees in child education and philosophy, quickly realizing her passion for teaching. Faced with the challenge of helping seasoned leaders develop soft skills without any prior corporate experience, she turned this disadvantage into a strength by creating evidence-based, sure-proof plans to build strong soft skills through habit formation and impactful conversations.
Personal life
Sarah's roots are Belgian and Tunesian, and she partially grew up in Washington DC. She currently lives in Belgium with her partner Nils (who is co-founder of SkillsGym Health), and has a dog named Lizzy.
20+ years of impact
Together with her SkillsGym team, Sarah has helped numerous world-class organizations like Samsung, Deloitte, Ikea... and thousands of managers and their teams improve their soft skills. SkillsGym now offers programs to accelerate the mastery of 50 essential leadership, team and well-being skills.
Fun fact
Sarah tests all the habits and conversations in the SkillsGym offer herself; that's more than 200+ habits and 200+ conversations. Most of them have become second nature. Yet, as you'll learn in the webinars, she isn't shy to talk about the failures and frustrations along the way.
