Why you should follow this program

We all want to be better at giving feedback. But when it comes down to it, most of us don't know how to do it well.

Ever been in a meeting and thought to yourself, "I should have said something about that"? Or maybe you've asked yourself why someone keeps repeating the same annoying behavior, although you've expressed frustration to them before. Or maybe you want to help someone grow and do better but are afraid to hurt their feelings.

Well, we have too. Luckily for all of us, some excellent science is available that gives us real practical pointers on preventing the most common failures when giving feedback and dramatically increasing our chances that feedback will be received well and have an impact.

Unlock Your Communication Potential

Are you tired of vague feedback and unproductive conversations? Our program empowers you with the skill of giving and receiving feedforward in real-life situations, inspired by the renowned Marshall Goldsmith. This means you'll master the art of providing constructive feedback that leads to real growth and better expectation management. Your ability to communicate effectively will set you apart and boost your career prospects.

Enhance Your Conversational Impact

Have you ever wondered if you're having the right conversations with your colleagues? Our program not only helps you identify the crucial conversations you need to have but also equips you with the CPR tool (Content, Pattern, Relationship) to decide what to focus on. This ensures that your interactions are not only meaningful but also targeted for maximum impact. You'll become a conversation expert, driving collaboration and problem-solving within your team.

Master Fact-Based Feedback

It's easy to get caught up in emotions when giving feedback. We emphasize the importance of basing your feedback on facts, following the principles of non-violent communication and using "I-messages." By focusing on facts, your feedback becomes not only useful but also relatable, fostering a culture of open and honest communication. Your colleagues will appreciate your constructive input, and you'll build stronger professional relationships as a result.

Elevate Your Personal and Professional Growth

Join our program to experience a transformation in your communication skills that extends beyond the workplace. By honing these sub-skills, you'll not only excel in your career but also improve your personal relationships and overall satisfaction in life. You'll become a more influential and empathetic communicator, setting the stage for continuous self-improvement and growth.

Master the skill of giving feedback (basic)

Build the skill, by mastering the sub-skills first.
After the kick-start webinar, you will practice building tiny habits (so small you will have no reason not to do it) in the workflow or in your personal life. You will build this skill habit-by-habit, conversation-by-conversation, focusing on 3 sub-skills.

Sub-skill 1

Week 1 - 2

Give feedforward

Practice giving each other feedforward about a real-life situation that is relevant to all parties involved.
#Feedforward #MarshallGoldsmith #ExpectationManagement

Sub-skill 2

Week 3  - 4

Decide what to give feedback on

Find out whether you are having the right conversations with your colleagues and discover a tool for deciding what, exactly, to give feedback on.
#CrucialConversations #CPRtool #ContentPatternRelationship

Sub-skill 3

Week 5 - 6

Stick to the facts

Keep in mind that facts are your friend when it comes to giving feedback. Focus on facts to give feedback that is useful and relatable.

Meet your trainer

At the kickstart of your 3-6 week skills development program, you will follow a webinar delivered by Sarah Cherif, founder and CEO of SkillsGym. Here are a few things you might like to know about her:

Sarah's background

Sarah began her career at the University of Ghent with degrees in child education and philosophy, quickly realizing her passion for teaching. Faced with the challenge of helping seasoned leaders develop soft skills without any prior corporate experience, she turned this disadvantage into a strength by creating evidence-based, sure-proof plans to build strong soft skills through habit formation and impactful conversations.

Personal life

Sarah's roots are Belgian and Tunesian, and she partially grew up in Washington DC. She currently lives in Belgium with her partner Nils (who is co-founder of SkillsGym Health), and has a dog named Lizzy.

20+ years of impact

Together with her SkillsGym team, Sarah has helped numerous world-class organizations like Samsung, Deloitte, Ikea... and thousands of managers and their teams improve their soft skills. SkillsGym now offers programs to accelerate the mastery of 50 essential leadership, team and well-being skills.

Fun fact

Sarah tests all the habits and conversations in the SkillsGym offer herself; that's more than 200+ habits and 200+ conversations. Most of them have become second nature. Yet, as you'll learn in the webinars, she isn't shy to talk about the failures and frustrations along the way.
