You're working on a project, and you need to collaborate with someone. Or maybe you just want to talk through your ideas with a friend. That's when you realize that your office is too quiet, or too loud, or too distracting.
Or maybe you're working from home and can't concentrate because of the kids running around or the dog barking at the mailman.

We've all been there.
Whatever the reason, we've all had moments where we wished our workspace was more conducive to what we were trying to do. This is where activity-based working comes in! Activity-based working is a way of designing our work schedule so that it fits our needs for concentration, collaboration, and presentations. The problem is that sometimes activity-based working can feel like an afterthought: "Oh yeah—I'll just stay at my desk until I'm done with this task." But if we don't make activity-based working a priority for ourselves and for our teams, then it won't work! We'll just end up burning out on everything and going home early because we're exhausted from working around distractions all day long (or night long).

Each program follows a simple and effective evidence-based approach to skills mastery:

Assess yourself

Reflect on where you currently stand and discover the practical components necessary for mastery of this skill.

Learn sub-skills

The skill is broken down into 3 essential sub-skills, each of which is the focus of one learning workout. You'll do 1 workout every 2 weeks over the next 6 weeks.

Talk about it

Have an insightful conversation with your colleagues about how to implement each sub-skill in your day-to-day.

Build micro-habits

Along with each workout, design your own micro-habit to start putting your learning into practice on a daily basis.
